SQL Server DBA

IT SPIN INC is looking for a Sr. SQL Server DBA with BACHELOR’S DEGREE,

OR EQUIVALENT, IN COMPUTER SCIENCE, INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY, OR A RELATED

DISCIPLINE, +5 YEARS OF PROGRESSIVE EXPERIENCE IN EXPERIENCE WITH HIGH

AVAILABILITY AND DR FEATURES IN SQL, DATABASETUNING, ENSURE THE

AVAILABILITY, STABILITY AND PERFORMANCE OF ALL DATABASE ENVIRONMENTS WHICH

INCLUDEDEVELOPMENT, QA, UAT, PRODUCTION AND DISASTER RECOVERY DATABASES.

Duties: Install and maintain the performance of a database server,

develop processes for optimizing database security, set and maintain

database standards, manage database access, performance tuning of database

systems, Install, upgrade, and manage database applications, diagnose and

troubleshoot database errors, recommend and implement emerging database

technologies, create and manage database reports, visualizations, and

dashboards, create automation for repeating database tasks involve

designing, capacity arrangement, cluster set up, performance fine-tuning,

monitoring, structure planning, scaling and administration, Include DBA

Responsibilities like data modeling, design and implementation, software

installation and configuration, database backup and recovery, database

connectivity, and security, a strong command of SQL and SQL server tools,

advanced knowledge of database security, backup, and recovery, and

performance monitoring standards, understanding of relational and

dimensional data modeling, familiarity with SSAS, SSIS, SSRS,

expert knowledge on Always on, Mirroring, Log Shipping,

Replication, Clustering.

Job Location: 9555 Lebanon Road, Suite 203. Job may require some travel

in the US with expenses paid by employer. 40hrs per week. Applicant must be
